FAQ: Here's what to expect at one of our classes.

Where are the classes held?
All classes take place in our cozy backhouse kitchen studio located in El Portal, Florida. The exact address is shared after booking.

How long is each class?
Each workshop is approximately 3 hours, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Do I need any prior baking experience?
Not at all. Our classes are designed for complete beginners as well as those looking to improve their sourdough skills.

What’s included in the class price?
Your $175 class includes:

  • A hands-on sourdough lesson

  • Your own sourdough starter to take home

  • Dough you prepare in class

  • A fresh baked loaf

  • Light snacks (includes sourdough baked goods made by us!) and refreshments


What should I bring?
Just yourself! We provide all tools, ingredients, and supplies. We even provide a booklet for you to take home with your notes.

How many people are in each class?
We keep classes small and intimate to ensure personalized attention. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.

Can I book a private class or group session?
Yes! We offer private classes for small groups, birthdays, or special gatherings. Contact us for availability and pricing.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 72 hours before class will receive a credit toward a future workshop. Because space is so limited, we’re unable to issue refunds for late cancellations or no-shows.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Sourdough classes make a wonderful, unique gifts. Contact us for details.

Will I be able to bake at home after the class?
Absolutely. You’ll leave with a starter, dough ready to bake, and the confidence to continue your sourdough journey at home.
